Dorota Goldpoint emphasizes that women often give up their dreams and passions in favor of a profession that will provide them with a secure future and stable income. This was also the case with her. Although she was an extremely creative person and had artistic abilities, she chose a completely different field of study.
– I am a psychoanalytic psychotherapist by profession and this work was a fulfillment for me, but intellectually. I felt that I was helping people, that I was giving them something valuable. However, since I was a child, there was also a very artistic, very creative part of me. But the times I lived in may not have allowed me to develop in this direction – says Dorota Goldpoint, fashion designer, to the Newseria Lifestyle agency.
The designer admits that her childhood dreams never let her forget about them and finally a breakthrough moment came in her life when she decided to fight for herself. In her case, mature age brought courage and enormous inner strength. She decided it was the right time to invest in herself.
– At some point, when changes took place in my personal life, I decided to follow my dream, my passion for which I had been waiting for so many years. And I started to pursue it in two ways – sewing, designing, and today I am very happy that I combined my profession with what I currently do. My book “The Heart Has No Wrinkles” is a tribute to a mature woman, mature femininity – she emphasizes.
The project “The Inner Power” is to draw attention, define and show how powerful mature women have within themselves, but also what dilemmas and internal dilemmas they experience and how they cope with difficult moments in their lives, what they draw their power from and what is their force.
